Daniel Duty

FOUNDER & CEO

Daniel Duty is an internationally known expert in the fields of negotiation, partnership building, joint problem-solving and collective impact. 

Daniel built the Business Partnerships and Negotiations team for Target where he developed its negotiations and partnership strategy and implemented a variety of frameworks, creating billions of dollars in savings and growth.

 

Daniel has led hundreds of negotiations on every conceivable topic with companies like Nestle, Hasbro, and Unilever.  He developed strategic partnerships creating innovative new products and solutions with organizations like P&G, Starbucks and UNICEF.

Daniel developed Target’s social responsibility strategy and built the Alliance for Bangladesh Worker Safety, a coalition of companies that made collective impact on worker safety in record time.

 

Daniel has taught thousands of businesspeople in the art and science of negotiation and partnerships at companies, business forums and leading universities such as Harvard, Berkeley, and Northwestern. Prior to joining Target, Daniel worked on behalf of US Senator Paul Simon, the US International Trade Commission, General Mills and other organizations.

Will Davis

FOUNDER & COO

Will Davis is an expert in growth strategies, business management, product development, retail and e-commerce merchandising, negotiation and partnerships. 

Will was a senior member of Target’s famed Business Partnerships and Negotiations team where he negotiated million-dollar deals with companies like Mattel and Hanes. He also brokered ground-breaking partnerships with companies like Levi's and P&G that led to significant growth for all parties.

Will has built, led and grown businesses worth hundreds of millions of dollars, including Target’s e-commerce toys and home products businesses.  He worked in Silicon Valley growing early-stage ShopKick and launching his own e-commerce men’s grooming company, Njord, for which he was awarded “Entrepreneur of the Year”.

At Conlego Will focuses on strategy and best practices, creating new product offerings, innovative negotiation approaches, and delivering obscene value to clients through customized engagements and long-term transformation.

His new negotiations & partnership approach with Whole Foods earned Conlego Supplier of the Year in 2018.

A former merchant with Target, Kryssa is a negotiations and partnership expert focused on value creation, collaboration and best practices in retail.  She is an expert on the topic of women in negotiation and her insights and advice can be found here.

Alex is a former corporate attorney with deep expertise in mergers & acquisitions and complex business deals.  Alex specializes in negotiations, strategic partnerships and business strategies that deliver significant growth and impact.

A former senior merchant and negotiations leader with Target, Scott brings significant experience to our retail practice.  At Conlego he focuses on negotiations, joint business planning, strategic partnerships, supply chain, retail insights and best practices.

Benton is a former merchant and negotiations leader at Abercrombie & Fitch and Target.  For Conlego, he focuses on growth opportunities that deliver extraordinary impact, including business strategy, consumer insights, branding, e-commerce, negotiations and partnerships.

Mark Hill

Mark is a former sales planner and merchant for Sony PlayStation and Target. With experience as both buyer and seller, Mark provides a unique perspective from both sides of the negotiation table. At Conlego, he focuses on driving value creation, impacting growth strategy and providing key insights to his clients and academy students.

SENIOR ENGAGEMENT MANAGER

Mark brings deep expertise in shaping the future of retail.  He launched the merchandising team for GoPuff, led sales for Ripple Foods, and was a senior merchant for Target. Mark focuses on retail & CPG strategy, omni-channel retail, merchandising best practices, negotiations & partnerships.
